Bright Hammock Colors

How can I make these colors really pop? I’d like to create some wall art, probably using a acrylic face mount. I took this at a market in Oaxaca last month, I love the colors and would love to see how others with more experience would process it in DarkTable.

Thanks.

I used a SSF profile I made from my grandson’s D3500, close enough for gov’t work (). That, and a rather aggressive filmic curve, in rawproc:

It looks like the rear-most parts are suffering the reflected light of other parts…

And a desaturated version. It’s fun to edit this image  .

Looking at my previous submission, I ripped out all the goodness of the SSF profile by using an over-aggressive tone curve. Here’s the same rendition with the tone curve set to a more prosaic shape:

Not as bright overall, but that red swatch regained its definition…

Suitable raw file for a colour transfer or film emulation.

Another version, possibly a little better

I like how you brightened everything up, though some of the colours are acid. Maybe that is the intention. :stuck_out_tongue:

Ya I was going for bright…sometimes my uploads are a tad darker than I expect when I review them so pushed but I was going for bright…still should have cleaned up the saturation in a few spots…
