I found this

Look very interesting, it use some deep learning stuff to repair photos.
I think it would use a lot of memory to do it, but I have not test it.

Do you think it would be possible to implement inside darktable or rawtherapee?

Sure its possible, but not probable. For one, scans of old photos are likely not raw files, so something like gimp would probably be a better fit. And it only runs with nvidia hardware which limits things a lot.

I see, it only support CUDA.
