Had a male that was particularly happy to pose on a branch near the deck. Was happy to get some good shots that didn’t include the feeder. I didn’t do much with this, yet I’m feeling like I’m in somewhat of a rut with editing - I find myself following the same path through darktable with (sigmoid) exposure > tone eq > CB RGB.
I’ve recently re-watched a couple of @s7habo videos (60 and 61) on how to break the habit of rote workflow.
However, with this one I feel I got lucky and it didn’t need much. So, I’m curious how everyone else sees it!
Guess I jumped the gun, because my intuition looking at that again said the sky was too purple, so this is the first time I’ve played with channel mixer in color calibration:
