In all good cameras, you can select a Photo Style and adjust the picture settings in it.
My current favorite for filming on the Panasonic Lumix S5M2 is CNED2.
My question is what happens if you then lower the contrast and saturation in the picture settings. E.g. to -5: Is contrast and color then subtracted from the calculated video, in contrast to the standard setting ±0, or only less contrast and saturation added? Is -5 the best setting for every shooting situation for post-processing in Kdenlive?
With sharpness and noise reduction it is definitely the case: The video receives the least additional sharpness and NR in the setting -5.
How is it with contrast and saturation? I’m interested for the Panasonic, but basically it will most likely be the same for all other cameras.
I hope I am not completely wrong with this request here in pixels.us.
