Who is to blame for making this Malva totally unrecognizable?
(Ho-hum: probably me.)
Irrespective of what, it became quite an interesting experiment
using the color calibration module in darktable, followed
by Gimp/g’mic’s kaleidoscope.

After a few tweaks using the color calibration module in dt,
I ended up with this interesting image:
If – on the other hand – I had used Gimp|g’mic|Kaleidoscope
on the original image, this would have been the result instead:
