I made a bunch (well a few) of screenshots showing what I did, ect…the script is called Gimp_Font (I thought!) but maybe it’s Custom_Font…anyway, cannot get it to work.
Sorry, the downloads are basically backwards.
G’day, @lizardbreath,
Unless Windows does strange things — might this be of assistance?
Addendum: on the other hand this recommendation most probably will not work because of lack of a proper python version? Hmmmm.
Have fun!

PS: Quite a pity that it wouldn’t work “out-of-the-box”; the Custom Font scripts
sound really valuable!
It is the custom font script see: Custom Font (scheme Script) for GIMP - GIMP LEARN and that is the best place to ask questions about it and get some custom font files, they are .xcf
I still use version 16, it can flag the odd warning but still works, I drag it out of my archive for birthday cards etc.
In multi-window mode to show a bit more.
I see the problem, You can not use a *.8bf PS plugin as a custom font
Hey Claes!!
Just to let you know, …yes, Windows does strange things, just to annoy me! (I think)
