Canon R6 II RAW Burst

Hi, has anyone solved the problem of how to extract Canon CR3 Raw Burst images in a Linux (Debian) environment. I tried searching the web dnglab/CR3_STATE.md at main · dnglab/dnglab · GitHub but the solution found doesn’t work for me. I working in Darktable on Debian. Does anyone have a working workflow?

DNGLab is your best card as a Linux user. What isn’t working?

Dnglab - extracts only the first image and does not see that there are other images in the file :frowning:

My Dnglab can only see 1 image in the whole series of images. It will only generate the 1st image from the whole series, even though it should generate more than 30 images - with the same preview

Would you mind sharing the raw file?

I apologize to all my friends who wanted to help me: MY FAULT!!! :smiling_face_with_tear: I accidentally used the camera’s Raw Burst output files instead of the Raw Burst files - the images the camera extracted  So much work due to inattention. Dnglab works perfectly :+1:

I wanted to share a raw file, I was at work, the camera with me, but only the company PC - oh well, I’ll have to use the company one when the personal one is at home - and the moment I connected the camera, I noticed what an error i did - when i looked at the files size it was immediately clear to me that i extracted the camera output file CSI_2774.CR3 at home instead of the raw burst file GN3A2767.CR3 - so my mistake and i’ve been struggling for 2 days

Glad you figured it out!

Maker sure you use
--embed-raw false

Well, I’m not surprised - 60x faster processing and 17x smaller files - with the same quality :open_mouth: Thank you very much :+1: :grinning: :100:
