i have a canon Rebel T7. when i add the pictures into darktable and click on them to edit. they come up black and nothing happens. i can send you a boatload of raw files and pictures if you need to help. i am just not really good with computers and it is all greek to me. if you can email me that would be awesome and i can attach the picture files that way. other than that i dont know what i am doing. my email is boatlife412@gmail.com

No need to share your email…you can work with files here in the forum… Just upload a file a or two it you want someone to confirm anything… you can upload the raw…
What OS and version of DT are you using??
I don’t have that camera…unless it has a mode that is not supported the images should come up fine… at least they do for me…
Is supported since 2.6.0
Can you attach a file directly here on the forum? Dragging and dropping, or clicking the upload icon (upward-pointing arrow) should both work.
