I am a windows guy and I am trying to help one of my students who has downloaded DT V4.8 but can not install it on their Mac computer running Sonoma 14.6.1.
Can anyone make suggestions what the problem is and how to resolve it?
The problem is resolved. When I know the solution I will post the answer here in case others suffer the same fate.
I just did the installation on a Mac yesterday. You just have to follow the instructions: install | darktable. For me, the key was opening it via the context menu, that made the button to launch the app available.
I believe that was the solution.
