Can't upload webp extension?

I hope this is the right category… I just tired to upload a webp image… but I got

Is this on purpose that it is not possible to upload a webp image?

No, not really on purpose.

Out of curiosity, why webp?

Since webp has now much better support, I moved to webp for online stuff, because it is smaller (generally speaking) then jpg for the same quality.

There was a thread a while ago about how it wasn’t as good with lots of examples.

Anyway, added the extension to the allowlist, let me know if it doesn’t work.
