I’m sorry guys, but I’ve revisited the same exact spot today. I knew it had much more to offer:

Or depending on where the Magpie is… It could be Tea… a Proletariat/Bourgeois thing maybe? I’m very much on the side of the Proles… Nice shot BTW. :+1:

Really love the out-of-focus duck there as the primary/secondary focus point, keeps the viewer’s eyes moving within the image. Wouldn’t have worked if it had been in focus.

Crocus Photoshoot in the front garden. Flower Photography holds a special place in my heart as when I got my first own camera, a Sony P100 I snapped away at the flowers in my parents garden. Since getting an old Tamron 90 mm 2.8 to adapt on my A7iii I now can finally get really close again and am surprised how well it goes shooting handheld with that lens.

Nice capture, love these kind of places thought from an engineering standpoint as an intersection of infrastructures and not as something enjoyable when walked through. It’s like capturing a view of a man made infrastructure that never really been conceived as something to be looked at.
Make me think about the concept of “interstitial spaces” as explored in the Gibson novels

Is that a Wood Sandpiper on the right? Great shot BTW.

Yes, exactly!

Wanted to know if the irises were blooming yet at a small pond near my house. I found one bloom, but it looks like I will miss the mass of blooms because of an upcoming trip. :frowning: Anyway, here is some IR fun:
