So I finally got @patdavid to charge his camera. YAY! So why not use this chance to get everyone motivated with a new capture challenge.

Rules:

  1. Charge your camera/phone. Put a new film into your camera.
  2. Start shooting.
  3. Post the photo.

Nice view in the distance. My outside view is all houses, roads, automobiles, power lines … :no_mouth: I’ll try to see if I can find a shot maybe tomorrow.

Yesterday morning. Shot in jpeg only by mistake :anguished: but worked out quite well. Processed with darktable 4.0. Not very exciting anyway, but I like the colours :grinning:

Great colors, really like it.

Taken today on a morning walk, pretty heavy crop since she was far away.

Thanks :slightly_smiling_face:

Nice! Is it a heron? I’m a bit wobbly on bird IDs

Indeed it is!

A couple from today. Middle-of-the-day harsh light shots, one of them at long end of my 70-300 zoom (don’t look too close). I.e., more snapshots than art. Shot with my Canon T8i / 850D (with Canon 70-300 USM IS and Sigma 17-70 DC), processed in darktable 4 and finalized in GIMP 2.10.32.

Local reservoir that’s now refilling after being drained late last year:

A snowy egret was hunting, wading up and down the far side of the bayou. Not really close enough for my lens / camera, but here it is:

Pretty photos.

I took regular photos on my way to work but too tired to extract it from the phone to the laptop and upload it here. Maybe later this week.

Thank you. It was 100F / 36C in the shade of my carport when I got home. I’m ready for autumn …whenever it might actually arrive, probably late October at earliest.

So… where are the images from @patdavid ? LOL
