So I finally got @patdavid to charge his camera. YAY! So why not use this chance to get everyone motivated with a new capture challenge.

but worked out quite well. Processed with darktable 4.0. Not very exciting anyway, but I like the colours

A couple from today. Middle-of-the-day harsh light shots, one of them at long end of my 70-300 zoom (don’t look too close). I.e., more snapshots than art. 
Shot with my Canon T8i / 850D (with Canon 70-300 USM IS and Sigma 17-70 DC), processed in darktable 4 and finalized in GIMP 2.10.32.
Local reservoir that’s now refilling after being drained late last year:

Thank you. It was 100F / 36C in the shade of my carport when I got home. I’m ready for autumn …whenever it might actually arrive, probably late October at earliest.
