I also like the 3rd shot, this is DT 4.6, my normal treatment of photo’s (sigmoid, tone eq, brilliance shadow cut and highlight boost and global chroma boost in colour balance, local contrast preset in diffuse and sharpen and a little bit of the other local contrast, lens correction and sharpen, I didn’t bother with denoise this time, did a little bit of fine detail boost and denoise in contrast eq, little boost to orange and cut to green chroma in colour zones)
As soon as I saw the first shot, I wanted to try making it look like the back of a photo card. I’ve boosted tint and white balance quite a bit. But I still feel like it could be improved, and I’m missing something.
Thanks for your question. Actually I took another shot with an aperture of 6.3 with the foreground slightly more in focus. But I like the one with out of focus foreground more, this is quite subjective I guess.
Thanks for your reply. Photography is an art and therefore people correctly approach the same subject in different ways. I respect that you have made a deliberate choice to blur the foreground.
Thanks for sharing these photographs.
A very quick play in GIMP at the first of them. Only now, as I am uploading it, I noticed the crane on the right which, perhaps, I should have removed.
