and it is the same excuse every single time.
Yep… “Think of the children”, “Beware of the terrorists”. Same excuse the US used for the patriot act and everything which followed.
This is just sad. not even 70 years ago many european countries were under dictatorships, fascist and communist, who spied everything people did and we would hope that people who lived through those times learned their lesson. Unfortunately those in power were but children during those times and didn’t face the harsh realities their parents did.
