Christmas in Glencoe

Due to the complete confusion over COVID-19 regulations (they are different in Scotland to England; there are fewer restrictions in England, not because of the science but because Johnson is so weak that he can’t go against the more libertarian members of his own party) we decided to spend Christmas at a hotel. We stayed at Kingshouse in Glencoe, an excellent hotel in a superb location.

Here is a view of Glencoe’s most iconic mountain.

To test and compare commercial software as well. With Lightroom it is very easy to work, I see.

Unless you’re testing some specific feature, please don’t. Literally every other photo forum on the internet is for closed source photo software, except this one.

OK, I’ll never do that again.

My effort to this. Thank you @epeeist for the nice capture.

A great photograph. It reminded me of the many trips I had to the Highlands in the distant past and particularly of Glencoe.

done in GIMP using my equal luminosity plug-in to adjust the contrast and saturation in each of the zones - probably overdone!

Beautiful scene!
I only wonder about the colour temperature

Y’all are good. I couldn’t do a thing with that overexposed cloud area. Well, nothing good, anyway.

I like very much the way you handled the overexposed sky there!!!
