A great photograph. It reminded me of the many trips I had to the Highlands in the distant past and particularly of Glencoe.
done in GIMP using my equal luminosity plug-in to adjust the contrast and saturation in each of the zones - probably overdone!
Y’all are good. I couldn’t do a thing with that overexposed cloud area. Well, nothing good, anyway.
I like very much the way you handled the overexposed sky there!!!
Lovely capture.
With Filmulator (I had to make a quick update to handle ISO 50):
- Highlight Recovery 2
- Exposure Comp -1.5
- Profiled CA on (rare lens where Auto CA Correct doesn’t do better)
- Profiled Distortion on
- Film Area 89.7
- Drama 100
- Overdrive on
- White Clipping Point 0.356
- Shadow Brightness 370
- Highlight Brightness 1000
- Saturation 50 (unusual for me, but occasionally useful in high contrast situations)
Here’s my contribution using Affinity Photo 1.10.4 in the Developer Persona. I’ve worked with ART, but wanted to see what AP could do. Overall I am surprised how good a job AP does. My opinion of course.
Uploaded 1/4/21 (yesterday I couldn’t get it to upload
You should just be able to drag-and-drop your image into the reply window. There are a few restrictions, but you don’t seem to be running into any of those looking at what you mention (extension and size).
Very occasionally Pixls has an upload issue, but this is a) few and far between and b) last for a rather short time.
So, try again when you’re back. Please do mention it when this problem persists for you.
Thanks Jade_NL for the suggestion. I just tried to upload it again, and it worked! I also used Edge browser today instead of Firefox. Go figure.
Nice photo, thanks @epeeist . Also an experiment with a border to see if it helps with a relatively low key edit.
