cmstest says different profiles -- but they are identical!?

I am trying to understand why darktable-cmstest replies “different profiles” when I have only one display .icc in the xfce/arch system. dt-git is v 3.9.0+6

The “descriptions” are identical between X atom and colord.
However, X atom reports file size 72648 bytes, while the profile mentioned in colord is 72508 bytes.

Is anyone able to shed some light on this, and to advice on how I should straighten this out?

Sincerely,
Claes in Lund, Sweden

I know this. I think you can ignore it. Stupid cmstest.

Mine reports different names, never looked at the size.

2 Monitors here: Mine reports

  • 2 pairs of different names for both monitors,
  • same size for one monitor
  • different sizes for the second monitor.

Both monitors are calibrated and profiled.

Only advise I can give you is that you might want to make sure that:

preferences → miscellaneous → interface → method to use for…

is set to the one that your are absolutely sure is correct.
