Color Calibration Module CCM (White Balance)

Hi,

Maybe a basic question but really could not have it right after so many hours.

  1. I am on DT 5.0.1 Mac
  2. When trying to use CCM, the default are " CAT16 CINECAM16" and DayLight.
  3. Then when clicking on the eyedropper, the whole image turn red. My cursor is outside the image and NO selection of neutral gray area is selected AND the illuminant changed from Daylight to “custom” immediately.

Is that something wrong with some of my DT setup?

  1. I tried selecting an area in the image, the image stays red.
  2. Also reset everything and go to White Balance module instead, the eyedropper there works ok but have to turn off CCM as DT said WB applied twice.

Hey, welcome! It’d be good to share an image and sidecar or at least a screenshot.

Check if there’s something non neutral set in color area mapping.

Thanks, not that familiar with the module. Are you referring to “area color mapping (active)” section? If about preset hamburger, I have that as “scene-referred default (default)”.

Thanks again.

You have a non-grey target set. Probably used the module /maybe accidentally) in measure, not in correct, mode.
