Yes, I think so.
Starting darktable without opencl does not change anything:
./darktable --disable-opencl
The same visual difference between darkroom preview and Geeqie rendering of exported jpg still persists.
Do you have color management turned on in geeqie?
Yes. Color management is active in Geeqie. I can verify this comparing color management on and off in Geeqie for image files rendered with color profiles of different gamuts. I get the expected results.
We had that discussed and explained in github at least once 
So before opening a new github ticket would you (always and please) check for similar issues - either still open or closed already ?
