Yep, that’s the one I tried. I get this:
/tmp/.mount_GIMP_AAEQxle/usr/bin/gimp.bin: fatal error: Segmentation fault

Sorry I forgot to reply.
Linux Mint 19 but anyway the latest appimage fixed the issue
