This flower is a good image to demonstrate if your profile might clip and hide some out of gamut…
Its close if not out of gamut so a small tweak can send it right over the top… then you can try your linear profile / display profile swap and see how much change you see any marked gamut changes… I found that my calibrated profile did indeed do some clipping… it was a shaper/matrix profile that I made using displaycal and my x-rite screen calibrator
