Couldn't Sign Up

Hi, new user here.

I tried to sign up using the normal sign up form as I usually avoid linking my google account to external websites, after concluding the process I was unable to verify the account as the verification email was never sent. I check for typing mistakes, checked the spam folder, I even awaited a day to try again but no good.

Finally I sign up connecting my google account which worked instantly. Maybe it is a structural problem, maybe it was a one off, anyway I thought it was good to report it.

Hey, thanks for reporting and welcome. This is a known issue and we are working on it.

I have the same problem. I even had to re-register, because my old account with a Gmail address didn’t work any more and mails to reset my password were not sent.

I’ve got the same difficulty using my gmail mail. The verification email did not arrive neither in my mail box, nor in the spam folder. After several trials I changed my email for @orange.fr. Then the verification email arrived in the spam folder and I could finally sign in.

Yes, we have a known problem with gmail. Trying to find the time to change out the backend email provider, but haven’t been able to find the time.

Could we put a pinned post up while it’s a known issue?
I tried a few times over a few days thinking it could be a transient issue until trying a different email provider

Same issue for me using gmail and icloud. Finally signed up with google.

I had the same issue using Yahoo mail. I finally used Protonmail and was able to register.

Since it’s been nine months, maybe consider removing email & password signups until the issue has been fixed?

I assume the outgoing pixls auth emails are being rejected because SPF, DKIM, and DMARC have not been conifgured – but that’s just a guess.
