Customize image export interface

Hi, I’m trying to customize image export via script based on the Lua API darktable.register_storage; this API calls a widget: types.lua_widget, with which I can customize the interface, adding new panels but I can’t remove previus panels like “format options” and “global options” as in the attached picture.

The question is:
since I can create my intereface as above, How to remove basic panels to free space on sceen?

I’m afraid you can add lua elements but you cannot remove core dt ones.

I see you are trying to enhance the export dialogue. I have one request
can you add Heic export using libheif?

I don’t know Heic neither libheif but if you can call it by a lua script (directly o via shell), you can.
