Hi everyone, I found that in darktable 3.0, the Retouch module doesn’t work well. To make it work I have to open and then close a new instance of the module itself.
I use macOS Sierra but I have verified that it also happens in Windows 10.

In the first step you’re copying from an area where the bird is present; when you drag the source area to the side the bird is no longer copied. Works as designed.
There‘re two way cope with this topic:
- shift click at the place the source area should be first
- click onto the retouch type icon (area in your case) to inactivate it, then the area is shown.
Have a look into the manual - the behaviour is well documented. It’s worth it …
