when i choose to import new pictures it reports new pictures were imported, but they are nowhere. I also deleted my database and tried to import again but with the same result. Import is suspitiously quick and noting is imported.

Which import option(s) do you use? If you use “recursive” import see Recursive directory import doesn't work · Issue #15938 · darktable-org/darktable · GitHub and After upgrade to darktable 4.6, imported images don't appear in lighttable

thanks, i hope they will fix this soon

I have the same issue.

no need to confirm - it’s already known and each user of the 4.6.0 release will see that behaviour…

I read about the issue and wait for the fix.

If it’s off any use, I noticed this problem as well with the flatpak version of 4.6.1 on debian 12

Interesting, especially when you consider that 4.6.1 isn’t out yet

Doh! I mean 4.6.0 My mistake

You’ll need to wait for 4.6.1 to get a fix, or pull the 4.6.x branch from github and build it yourself
