I wanted to take a moment to sincerely thank all the developers for this 5.4.0 version. This is a truly impressive major release.
With every new version, the software becomes remarkably stable and fast. The interface feels much more responsive now, and the overall performance improvements—especially the new “busy” cursor and the startup speed—make a huge difference in my daily workflow.
I also want to highlight the addition of AgX and Capture Sharpening, which are fantastic tools that significantly improve image quality right from the start.
In my opinion, darktable has reached the maturity of a high-end professional tool. Thank you for your hard work and for moving this project forward in such an impressive way!
