Is there a version of darktable available for Mac OS Catalina 10.15.7? I have an older Macbook Pro 2012 ish & for some reason I can’t upgrade past catalina & I keep getting errors when I try to install darktable.
*Also, is there a way to run Nik silver efex, etc on darktable? (Not the newer version, acquired by some other greedy company, who won’t honor my previously purchased software)

Version 3.8.1 works on OS10.13.6, thus it should work on 10.15.5. Newer versions may work but did not try them.

The x86_64 builds are made with deployment target 10.14

Regarding Nik and other tools: darktable is not a Lightroom clone and will not support its plugins. It is, however, possible to integrate external applications (basically, to automate the process of exporting to a lossless format, launching an external app, waiting until it terminates, taking its output and importing that into darktable as a new image). You may be able to create such a script based on the existing ones. See GitHub - darktable-org/lua-scripts.
