hi, since today, my darktable (now 5.4.1) on Linux Mint (22.3) crashes whenever trying to import or export. opencl is disabled, i set the swapfile to 12 GB, both didn’t change anything. - attached the error log. any ideas or suggestions?

cause found: The crash happens when you hover over an image in the lighttable. So the immediate workaround is simple — when darktable opens, don’t move your mouse over any image. Instead, go straight to the import dialog via the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+I or through the top menu with the mouse, keeping it away from the image thumbnails.
This is not a fix. You likely need to share the terminal output from darktable -d common
In the bt I see a mask being used. Did you create a recent auto apply preset?
this is why i wrote: cause found … not fix found.
but: with the most recent exiv2 update the fix is there
