darktable lua locale management

Hello,

Is it expected for a new lua module to have its *.mo file built into ~/.config/darktable/lua/locale/… no matter where the module is installed ?
For example I install my module in ~/.config/darktable/lua/mymodule with a locale directory with the translations.

We tstandardized it so we only had to look in one place.
