I have defined a style which applies 2 instances of the Diffuse or Sharpen module. One instance applies Lens Deblur, the other Local Contrast.
This style saves me a lot of mouse clicks to get to a baseline of “sharpness” for my bird/wildlife photos.
When I apply this style to an image, the module list on the RHS of the Darkroom screen shows 3 instance of DorS: one for Demosaicing which is part of my baseline for all images, plus the two instances applied by my style.
Sometimes I want to sharpen a bit more, by tweaking the sharpness option within a DorS instance - bumping it up to +2% or even +4%. This can take 4 or 5 clicks and some typing, and I would like to do this on a single shortcut key if possible.
Anyone have any ideas how a shortcut key can pick out an instance
“diffuse or sharpen . Deblur Hard”
If I use the “quick access panel” then it only picks out the top instance on the list, and doesn’t give any way to select the other instances.
Not a big item, but it would be useful to me, so thanks in advance for any expert help!!
You can set an instance per shortcut by counting from the top or bottom, not by name. So that would work if you always use the same instances in the same order. And you can set an exact value, if that’s what you want, by using the “set” effect and entering the value as a speed.
One supplementary question: If I do a selective copy from one image to another, sometimes the order of my 3 DorS instances is changed, usually being reversed. This can be a bit annoying with DorS as there is a suggested preferred order for instances.
