darktable with nvidia + nvk/rusticl/zink

Hi guys!

Are you testing darktable + nvidia + rusticl/zink?

I have the impression that it’s pretty usable now. Performance seems to be the same as with the proprietary driver, and so far, at least after like 10 minutes of editing, I didn’t get any crashes.

This seems to be really cool. Now I can use Miracle WM which does not work well with the proprietary driver.

Looks like now we have a usable open source opencl solution for nvidia hardware.

edit: I have a GTX 1660 Super + full hd screen. but exporting the whole 20 megapixels photo does not seem to be extremely slow

I heard that 6GB of VRAM is enough to export a 24Mpx RAW, so I suppose you don’t get tiling, right?
