Denied Permission to Volumes (on Mac)

I accidentally denied permission to Volumes on SIRIL. The prompt popped up quickly & I just pushed to close it.

However, I need to access Volumes to allow the external hard-drive to run scripts. So how do I reset this? Or get the prompt to ask again, so I can allow permissions?

Ive gone to the Hard-drive itself & changed the security settings to “everyone” & that didnt work. I uninstalled & reinstalled the program & it DIDN’T show the prompt at all, it just gave me the “Could not read the contents-- error opening directory: Operation not permitted”.

What do I do?

It seems like a potential mistake anyone could make. So why isnt there a better/obvious solution to just allow permissions??

THANK YOU! I had to change a few things, but it WORKED. Appreciate your timely help!

What settings did you update? I’m on a MacBook too, trying to give Siril full permission to my external hard drive so I can set my working folder there
