Difference in digiKam Download Options ?

As per here (and just about any other digiKam page):

When I mouse over the big blue Download button, my browser displays a digiKam.org address.
Scrolling down the page, when I mouse over where it says can be downloaded from “this repository,” it displays a KDE.org address with various download options, mirrors and such.

If I just click the big blue button, does a download immediately begin; and, if so, what am I getting ?
I would just click it and see, but I am on a very limited internet package and downloads eat it up quick.

Thanks for reading and all help is appreciated.

The big blue download button at the top of the page gets you the latest stable digikam, 5.9. At the bottom of the post is a link to beta download. You probably want the stable download.

DigiKam is part of the KDE project and KDE provides the hosting for the digikam.project.
