Images of sunsets in black & white are rare, so here is an example I recently shot with my new 150-500mm telephoto lens.

Very interesting, different indeed… Did you use any sun filter, or just a really low exposure? I’ve gotten some similar pictures, but only in very foggy days.
No filter, just short exposure. But I had to lift the shadows in post. The contrast was difficult to manage.
