Great week for metadata maniacs!
- Support for different authors of comments in various languages
- Fully customizable "Short view" (aka "Human readable") in Metadata tab; unfortunately due to feature freeze for 4.3 duration this will not be available in digiKam 1.0 with this KDE release, but only with KDE 4.4.
- Further optimizations in image plugins
- Fixed bug about creation date for non-EXIF-able files
- Fixes and improvements in templates system
- Compatibility with libjpeg7
- Multiple fixes and improvements in advanced slideshow kipi-plugin
