I made the mistake of telling it “start advanced tutorial” and now it’s bombarding me with messages but it can neither understand “stop advanced tutorial” nor a simple “shut up” !!

I just now told it “STOP” sans quotes. It wrote:

Sounds like a “feature” looking for a purpose.

True confession: I’ve been on here for several years, and if I had ever heard of discobot I’d fogotten long ago.

Yes, the UI here is not blindingly obvious at times …
That’s why they have an interactive tutorial, discobot 
Most of these type of bots, they stop if you just ignore it instead of replying back. Did you try not replying to it?

yes. that didn’t help -it kept sending reminders. Per my previous post, I’ve muted it.
