It does not take much to make a home studio. It all depends on your goals as well as the size of your task. Here is one example:

Light tent = a used C5 envelope, formerly containing our electricity bill.
Note the handheld LED flashlight, upper right.

Here’s one I made out of a modified IKEA Skubb storage cube. Basically cut windows out the sides & tops, cutting a window out of the plastic reinforcement , leaving just one layer of fabric to act like a diffuser.
Then a bit of black card to act like a backdrop.
Best of all, it all folds away!

Didn’t get to tell you yesterday but boy do I enjoy your photography.
I used to use a light tent made out of white linen (like a bed sheet) and just cut a hole in it for the lens to fit through. I had to photograph historical spoons for a collection.
