DJI Mavic Mini 2 artefacts on screen but not when I save them?

Hi there

I am new here - I’ve checked previous topics and my problem isn’t covered!

I am getting a huge amount of artefacts on the screen for both RAW and JPG files from my DJI Mini 2.

I don’t think they are hot pixels as they change from photo to photo, it’s more like the software isn’t displaying the picture properly as other software shows them OK.

I have included an example, same photo in RAW and JPG! Please help as I am desperate to edit these photos, I can’t afford things like Photoshop! Please let me know if you need any other information or log and I will do my best to provide.

Thank you

Those aren’t artifacts. You’ve turned on focus peaking.

Use the “e-icon” key as mentioned in the linked darktable document chapter or use shift-ctrl-f

BTW: Welcome to Pixls!

I can’t find the words to say thank you enough!

You won’t believe how much time I have spent trying to work this out, THANK YOU SO MUCH…

Now I know that Darktable isn’t broken, I will spend some time watching tutorials and getting to know it a lot better.

Regards

Terry
