DNG made with a Samsung S22 smartphone

My photos taken with the Samsung S22 smartphone in DNG appear in the thumbnails, but DT cannot open them for editing. On Windows, I used Adobe’s own software to convert these files to ARW (Sony). And now, on Linux, Fedora 42?

Search the forum there are several threads… I’m not sure what you are talking about wrt converting DNG to a sony raw format…I don’t believe anything like that is possible…raw is raw…

You could try this and or as I said explore the various discussions around this issue…

I have the same problems with DNG’s from the Fairphone 6, just a black screen. Is there any guide to troubleshoot and see what’s missing?

Not all of us know that there are several forms of DNG and that not all apps can open all forms of DNG.

As Todd says, Adobe DNG Converter can fix that.

Off-topic, but the same comment can apply to TIFFs (several forms, as we probably all know).

Thanks, Adobe …

I can run Adobe DNG Converter on Fedora 42 using wine without any problems.
