Does -framing=max no longer work with fitseq?

When I used to stack more than 2048 lights on windows I would use fitseq. And for registration I would use two pass with -framing=max.

Now it gives me this error:

Framing method “max” cannot export to FITSEQ or SER format, aborting

Is this a new limitation, no -framing=max if I use FITSEQ?

This option has not been available for FITSEQ files for quite some time. In fact, we will gradually stop supporting this type of format, as it is too complex to use.
Additionally, as explained in the release notes, we have released an experimental version that increases the number of files that can be used. That is why it is always worth reading the release notes.
