Does -framing=max no longer work with fitseq?

When I used to stack more than 2048 lights on windows I would use fitseq. And for registration I would use two pass with -framing=max.

Now it gives me this error:

Framing method “max” cannot export to FITSEQ or SER format, aborting

Is this a new limitation, no -framing=max if I use FITSEQ?
