I think this stand alone idea is really great. Thanks a lot for this development. I’d like to try the standalone version as I often would just apply one of the filters without needing Gimp.
@Arran, finally I’ve seen we don’t build .deb packages for Ubuntu 14.04 (64bits) anymore.
I don’t have a virtual machine set up right now to do this task.
Could you try building from the sources, it should be straightforward, as I’ve used Ubuntu as the Linux distro to write the instructions here : http://gmic.eu/download.shtml#source
Thank you. However up to now I have always resisted to do compiling. But, as I am
anyway going to install Kubuntu 16.04 in the next weeks, I think I wait until I
can do it with the PPA.
