My first post here. Also wish to thanks mr. @s7habo for his recommendation of this forum and site.
Faced with light problem. I am preparing to upgrade my gear. Possible path is from Sony to Nikon. Nikon Z5 to be exact. I’ve try to download several Z5 NEF files from different sources in order to test them in Darktable. Unfortunately DT doesn’t recognize them. Tried with Z6 NEFs and those are perfectly friendly to DT.
My DT is latest 3.2.1~git6.54dcbf5a5-lp152.49.1 on OpenSuse Leap 15.2
Is there any library with Z5 files ready already or need to wait DT release?

The Z5 was released after darktable 3.2.1 was released.
I don’t see the Z5 in rawspeed either. Is it supported @LebedevRI?
Darktable relies on user submitted samples in order to support camera. You can submit samples at https://raw.pixls.us

Nikon Z 5 (not “Z5”) samples are already present on RPU and support has indeed been added AFAICT, so should be working in the upcoming dt 3.4 Christmas present.

Replaced file in my installation. Now DT can read file correctly with notice that “Don’t have Z 5 Color Matrix” which is fine. I can work on file .
