I’ve been taking some rather similar images recently, so I applied a style I created and rather liked it, plus a few minor tweaks.

Beautiful photo @Roland_Rainer!

Ran it through @arctic 's agx-emulsion (Kodak Gold 200) with preflash to control the highlights.

Another edit, quite different from my first. I like them both. darktable 5.0.1

Brightened things up just a tad.

Decided to take out Buzz (been nearly a decade since I used it; still works in Irfanview; lol). Buzz works great on buzy images like this one, imo.

OK; keeping with the the theme this time. I call this one, Moonlit Bark.

I like the old version …

yes, I wasn’t so happy with the trees in the background first time, I used a global yellow tint on the new one, the first one I changed the white balance to 5600 and I think reduced the saturation in the sky and probably greens

What I like in your old version is the tonal distribution in the tree trunks, and the lighting of the main tree. However, the leaves in the lower right corner have a more pleasing saturation (and colour tone) in the new version, as seen on my monitor.

I used the “blender punchy” preset in agx as a starting point, which makes some adjustments to the greens, I often have problems with the greens when making larger tonal adjustments
