Hi I just installed darktable 3.6.1 win64 on Win10.
Shortly after starting the app, I get an Error “An unhandled exception occured. Backtrace will be …”
If I open the backtrace, all it says is

Are you running any antivirus? If yes, can you disable it any try again?
Yes, I’m running Malwarebytes.
I stopped the real-time protection, started up darktable, which threw an exception, this time with more content.

I had the same issue recently. I did my edit, exported the raw to jpg and quit the software.
I saw that the jpg was not fully processed regarding the last editing step. the last history item was applied just to 50% looking from the top to the bottom of the raw. Later when starting darktable again to fix the export, the crash ocurred as soon as I opened the raw.
I had a 2nd instance of color balance rgb with a parametric mask in the stack as the last history item. After I removed that from the xmp sidecar, darktable started again without crashing and I redid my last step of editing.
