"exif datas not available" message

I just shifted from LR to Rawtherapee, and I experience a problem using CR3 files from Canon EOS RP camera. I always have a message EXIF datas not available when trying to edit a CR3 file.
OK with CR2 and jpeg. RT 5.8.

An idea what I could do?

Call canon and politely tell them that publishing some specs about the CR3 file format that don’t require an NDA would be helpful.
