Is it possible to export selected files in Digikam to a local folder and adjust the size of the exported image, without changing the original? I mean, export an image for use elsewhere leaving the original unchanged.
Have you tried BQM (batch queue manager) ?

Attention, if you use the buildin editor, change or crop an image and export the image then, digikam will do an useless “autosave”. That means your original file is overwrritten with your last changes. Its a very stupid behavior, in my opinion.
