cheese.keeper.nef.xmp (10.3 KB) darktable 3.2.1
A relatively simple edit that tried to keep this as close to real as possible. But without knowing what the actual colours are/where there is some guesswork involved.
BTW: Welcome to Pixls!

Thanks! I will have a look at the steps you took once I’m on my laptop. It looks good! Maybe a little dark? I don’t know, you folks are the experts not me
Very nice, thank you
I do tend to like my edits just a tad darker. Than again, maybe your monitor is set too dark
Seriously though: In the end the edit that you like is the one that counts. Don’t let people tell you otherwise!
As pretty as the second one is, the first one is more true to life I think. Not many fluorescent antiques hehe (aside from uranium and neodymium glass, of course!).
Im really enjoying seeing what everyone is doing with this image
@KristijanZic yes! It’s bright but more accurate.
@Soupy so lovely I’m sure I will have more to share soon!
My attempt. I try to keep a very “realistic” look. I hope you like it.

It’s lovely, thank you
@Testuda You probably have enough info to try again. If you have any questions about dt, you can always start a new thread or post in an existing one.
Will do! Thanks everyone!
@Tim, you have unique postprocessing style. Quite strong loss of details, warm (bit too warm) colors but your interpretations of turtle or cheesekeeper have “this something”. I like it.
Hi and welcome to the forum. Nice image composition, well exposed and focused and background that fits to the flowers. I highlighted the front side a bit, and made the white balance a bit warmer after taking a sample in the upper right border of the front side of the dish.

Beautiful, thank you for the edit and the suggestions! I had two lights, one from each side… But I should have had one of them at more of an angle.
Thank you Marco! <3
