Also, are the images licensed freely I wonder?

http://facesofopensource.com/licensing/ says they are CC BY-NC-SA. Commercial use is possible in theory, too.

I’ve reached out to Peter Adams, and he’s happy to chat/interview! I’ll let him know it’ll be at least a week out before I can reach out to him. In the meantime, I need some interview question ideas!
