Fantastic light over village

I think my darker version looks better

Don’t you have a blower? Most dirt I get on my sensor is just some more or less loose dust. So every time I recognize spots, I just blow (I use an electric blower) on the sensor and the spots are gone. I think using a swipe is not necessary every time when there is some dust on the sensor. Swipes are there for the more resistant dirt, and I use them just like @paulmatth once a year or so.

Edited with Ansel.
Aside from the issue of sensor cleanliness, the image is very appealing. Here is my interpretation:

Lmao that’s incredible :joy:

Reminds me a bit of my macro photo, though the dirt was on the window…

I didn’t worry about the sensor cleanliness. I leaned a bit towards an very analog feel. I didn’t even try to sharpen really.

Sorry, my replies have been buggy with the recent issues. I do have a blower but I guess I just need to be more diligent with its use. I change lenses quite frequently these days, and I try to keep it quick… But I should try to be more careful.

Attempted a quick version that satisfies the request to bring out the foreground. I didnt bother with cleaning. Done on my laptop so not sure how colors will look on a proper monitor.

I like @Terry 's version better.

Took the shortcut by using @Acroniix’s retouches and giving it a spin in DT5.6.

@AdamFromCanada I noticed lens data is missing so I assume you used a lens converter, which is normal. But can your lens converter adjust aperture? If not the lens would be in the smallest aperture like f/22 which would make sensor dust spots very prominent. If you can make it like f/8 I believe they’ll be less obvious.
Obviously the normal lens changing process should be followed, such as don’t do it when it’s dusty, make sure you turn off your camera, try to do it with camera facing downwards etc.

The adapter guess is correct. I may have been stepped down quite a lot to minimize blowing out.

Yeah maybe open it up quite a bit next time and use shutter speed to control exposure instead, and compare the dust spots with different apertures.
