Feline friend (old camera noise fun)

Hi, I’m a huge fan of darktable and rawtherapee. Have been using them for a few years now as a casual shooter. Here’s an old pic of one of the cats I met on my travels

That’s a very beautiful cat! Those eyes are just begging for me to crank up the saturation slider.
And pretty good noise performance at ISO 3200, much better than my ancient D300.

Those are some clean edits! I think I was going for a filmic look with probably rawtherapee but I can’t find the dang file.

Well not an expert in noise reduction with DT.
Just used profiled noise reduction and a bit of diffuse/sharpen noise reduction to lower grain a bit.

And some interpretation of the imagen in my own, trying to center attention in the face.
I kept its eyes in a pale blue/cyan with a bit more vibrance.

this cat really has a friendly expression, what is she saying?

That cat has all the characteristics of being cautiously curious (tentative). So it might be telling you I’m friendly when approached, but approach it the wrong way and it might not be so friendly (or run away).

If memory serves me right she was from an airbnb I stayed at, and went into hiding after slinking around my legs.
